Programmable Voice calls

The Twilio-compatible Calls and Recordings API for Programmable Voice. Create, monitor and control calls, read the recordings captured during them, download recording audio, and inspect the HTTP requests Signals made to your URLs during a call. Call behaviour is scripted with OneML documents that your server returns.

Authenticate every request with HTTP Basic authentication. The username is your Voice Account AccountSid and must equal the AccountSid in the path. The password is your Voice Account auth token. Both come from the Signals console. A Signals sk_live_ API key does not authenticate this API.

Signals checks the credential shape, the path and the account itself, then forwards Calls and Recordings requests to the voice engine and relays its response unchanged. Errors that Signals raises itself are application/problem+json documents with a stable code. Errors that the voice engine raises keep their Twilio-compatible shape.
